"WOMEN OF HONOR"

Artist: SFC Michael Munoz

SFC Munoz is from San Antonio, Texas and has served in the US Army for 20 years, all of which has been as an infantryman.  He has drawn all his life and has no formal training.  He has done cover-art for the Infantry Magazine and the National Infantry Association Bugler Magazine.  One day while going over some prints with a fellow artist he received a call from a female soldier asking if he had any prints of women soldiers.  After giving a response of "no" and hearing her disappointment he did some research and found that it isn't that hard to find women doing their jobs diligently and yet there was not that much honoring just women.  So he made up his mind to create a print.

This print is done in graphite on 140 pound acid free paper and measures 17.5" x 23".

On the top of the print is a woman in full combat gear, because of the constant danger that they put themselves in for service to their country.

The female at the map are represents those that serve in areas in support of combat operations.

The medic tending the child shows the sensitivity they carry by nature in their hearts that make them a blessing to those in need.

The various skills badges are those that women can acquire, but are largely dominated by men.

They are wives, sisters...mothers, daughters.

They are "WOMEN OF HONOR."

These prints are a limited edition of 2000 and are signed and numbered by the artist.

The cost is $25.00 plus $5.00 shipping and handling stateside; $25.00 plus $7.00 shipping and handling for overseas delivery.
