UNIFORMS WANTED

The Chesapeake Beacon, Chapter 114, is looking for uniforms dating from 1942 - 2003.  We need the uniforms to be in fairly good condition.  If you have the hats, purses and shoes that go with the uniforms, we would really like them to.  We can't afford to pay very much due to the fact that we are a small chapter.  If you would like to donate a uniform if would be greatly appreciated.

The uniforms will be used for display purposes during events, such as classes for school children - to teach them about women serving in the military; classes at military posts - to teach history classes to the women who are serving in the army today; membership drives - to educate the public about the role women have played in the military; and many other events.

You can reach Wanda @OkieGirlMD@aol.com.  She will be happy to talk with you about any uniforms you have.

MILITARY PARAPHERNALIA

Chapter 114, Chesapeake Beacon, is looking for military paraphernalia (such as books, photos, medals, military patches, letters to/from home, etc.).  If you have any of these items that you would like to donate to the Chapter please contact Wanda @ OkieGirlMD@aol.com.  These items will be used to educate children and adults about the women and men who have served their country.
