AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP
Chesapeake Beacon, Chapter 114, of the Women's Army Corps Veterans' Association has formed an Auxiliary for the Chapter. This Auxiliary has been formed according to the IRS definition of an Auxiliary Unit - "Auxiliary Units or societies are corporations or associations formed to support the purposes and activities of a post or organization composed of veteran members. IRC 501 (c) 19 provides for the exemption of auxiliary units composed of spouses of members of an IRC 501 (c) 19 organization, or persons related to a member of such an organization within two degrees of consanguinity."
Women and men who can show proof that they are related as parents (mothers and fathers); grandparents; brothers; sisters; children and grandchildren of men and women who have served their country honorably are eligible to attain membership as Auxiliary Members of the Chesapeake Beacon, Chapter 114, of the Women's Army Corps Veterans' Association.

Membership Dues - Membership dues are payable upon application and thereafter annually at the beginning of each fiscal year (1 July). Dues for members joining after January 1 of any year shall be one half (1/2) of the current chapter dues. (Example: Dues for Chapter 114 are $10.00 per fiscal year. If a new member joins after January 1 she will pay $5.00 and then pay $10.00 on July 1st, the beginning of the fiscal year).
All members will receive twelve (12) issues of the Chapter publication "The Lighthouse."

You must include a check for $10.00 ($5.00 after January 1st). If you are unable to show your Documentation to the Membership Chair personally, please take your information to a Notary Public and have her/him verify your information by signing and dating the application form stating that he/she has verified your DD214 (Discharge Papers); Military ID Card; or Assignment Orders. After he/she has signed and dated the application please send your application and dues to the address above.
